Gangler’s has over 123 boats positioned on lakes, stretching from the 58th to the 60th parallels. No other lodge in North America can match that. We can accommodate up to 6 fly-outs per day with our float planes, depending on schedule and weather. Our OTTER can take up to 6 fisherman and 3 guides and the BEAVER can handle up to 4 fisherman and 2 guides. The 206/185 takes 2 fishermen and their guide.
Fly-outs are scheduled to allow for normal fishing days although hours can be adjusted.
Minihuik is located northwest of Egenolf and is accessed by a 1.5 mile portage. This portage is an experience itself with beautiful esker views of the area. There’s excellent fishing for pike, lake trout and walleye and the North Seal passes right thru with other river systems flowing in as well. You’ll need boots as the portage crosses a swampy area but the terrain is amazing. Reduced pricing in 2023!
Another great lake on the Fergus River system, the last lake before the Fergus feeds into Bain. Big pike and walleye abound in this boulder-strewn lake.
This huge lake is 20 miles long by 12 miles wide. There are many islands, big weed beds, deep holes and the Robertson Esker traverses its west side. Big pike and grayling and it’s one of our finest lake trout lakes. Blackfish has been featured in TV shows filmed by In-Fisherman and Walkers Cay. Reduced pricing in 2023!
This fly-out is located just south of Maria Lake and has tremendous pike and walleye fishing. There are some really big pike in this lake and the walleye at certain times will dominate the lake’s surface as they feed on bug hatches.
A large lake situated in the North Seal with other river systems feeding into it. Great for all four species and some exceptional walleye fishing. A gorgeous lake.
Located 25 miles SE of the main lodge, this nice sized lake features all four species. This lake is part of the Laurilla River system which flows from Stevens-Nicklin to the North Seal. This lake can go seasons without being fished.
This 10 mile long lake is relatively untouched and has dynamite pike, walleye, and lake trout action. Featured prominently on Lindner’s Angling Edge.
Situated 30 miles SE of the main lodge, this lake has lots of shallow flats and weeds for great fishing for pike, walleye, and lakers. A very popular, and very consistent lake.
Just southwest of the lodge, a short walk down our esker to another excellent pike lake.
Portage Lake – 1 boat
Part of the southern river system flowing into the North Seal, this beautiful lake has big pike, walleye and lake trout. A guest favorite.
Fly-out Lake – 1 boat
Located NW of the main lake, this lake has all four species and exceptional weed beds for pike.
Fly-out Lake – 2 boats
This lake is located on the Fergus River system and has big pike, lots of walleye, and beautiful scenery. Rarely fished.
Fly-out Lake – 1 boat
Located just east of Egenolf about a 1 mile walk to a great pike lake (both size and quantity).
Portage Lake – 1 boat
Fish the Manitoba tundra, a land of the extreme. Big pike, lake trout, and grayling in a setting you will never forget. A special trip into a VERY different setting.
Fly-out Lake – 3 boats
Located 40 miles SE of the lodge, not a huge lake but chock full of huge pike! Our guide Big Alex came back with his knees shaking after seeing the biggest pike of his life!

A widening of the North Seal at our western fringe, an interesting fishery of winding river, nooks and crannies.
