The lodge grounds are level, easy walking and in close proximity to the lodge.

The neighboring Sub-Arctic wilderness is prime area for Canadian Timber wolves. The pack local to the lodge areas offering incredible viewing and photographic opportunities to our guests at various times of the day. Wolf viewing opportunities in 2025 was 100%.
The local residents of the Sub-Arctic have no exposure to humans and may prove as curious about you as you are of them. See wolves, black bear, wolverines, moose, pine maarten, mink, otter and unique species of birds in their natural untouched habitat. Patience is required when viewing wildlife.
The initial exploration of the North Seal was for its world-famous 5 star fishing, some of the finest on the planet. Ganglers fishing has been featured on TV and in print over 300 times. Whether you are an experienced angler or a newbie wishing to try it, if you do, you will be amazed- and slightly terrified- at what swims in these waters. It is common for guests to catch and release 25 to 50 to 75 fish in a day! Swimming is prohibited to ensure your safety!
The photographic opportunities at the North Seal are unlimited. Northern Lights, wildlife, and the unique topography and botany will overwhelm you with unique options to explore. Whether working individually or with a hosted group, our in-house staff and guides will be onhand to assist you in getting those amazing shots.
Numerous bird studies have been done in our various locations and several rare species call it home. All of our adventures provide great birding opportunities whether by binoculars or camera.
