Gangler’s is accessible only by flight. Our expeditor will meet you very early the morning of your trip at the Lakeview Signature hotel at the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport to take you to the terminal for your chartered flight to the lodge.
Gangler’s offers world-class trophy fishing for the Canadian Grand Slam – Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Arctic Grayling and Walleye.
The North Seal River Lodge offers a full-service experience and includes guided fishing, coffee delivery to your cabin each morning, meals prepared by our chefs in the lodge and many other optional activities including fly-outs to a variety of different lakes. The lodge also features a full-service bar and tackle/gift shop.
Gangler’s outpost camps are each unique and offer a more independent, limited-service experience that includes unlimited self-guided fishing, food to prepare your own fantastic meals. Each outpost has a camp manager on site at all times.
Maria Lake Mini Lodge offers a mix of the lodge-type setting and the outpost camps. You can enjoy unlimited self-guided fishing and the independence of an outpost with meals prepared in the lodge for you by our Mini Lodge Management team.
Yes! Fishing licenses are only available online from the Manitoba government. We suggest you purchase and print your NC-Non-Resident of Canada Angling – Conservation License (U.S or outside of MB) or NC-Resident of Manitoba Angling License (CA) prior to arriving at the lodge. Fishing is excellent throughout the season. The weather and time of the season can influence fishing technique but trophies and huge quantities of fish are caught throughout the season. North Seal River Lodge trips offer fully guided trips.
At the Outpost Camps and Maria Mini Lodge, you can hire the Camp Manager to guide for 1-3 days for an added fee. We can sometimes arrange a full-time guide at the outposts for an added fee (based on availability).
At the outposts, lake maps, unlimited fuel for the boats and support/advice from the camp managers is always available.
Only at the North Seal River Lodge: We offer fly-outs to a variety of different lakes. We have a menu of available locations at the lodge and these can be booked once you arrive. Pricing varies based on the distance from the lodge ($400-$800/person).
Only at the North Seal River Lodge: You can lease fishing rods/reels, fly fishing equipment and stocked tackle boxes from our tackle shop.
We recommend layered clothing. It can get cold in the evenings and early in the morning. In the afternoon, it can get very warm – especially in July and August! Also, make sure to bring waterproof gear and a rain suit in case of wind and rain.
North Seal River Lodge: Guests enjoy fishing with a guide in custom 18’ and 16 1/2’ boats outfitted with 25-40 hp, Yamaha four-stroke outboard motors and depth finders.
Outposts/Mini Lodge: Guests will enjoy fishing in custom 16 1/2’ boats with seats, 20 and 25 hp Yamaha outboards, depth finders, and casting decks.
North Seal River Lodge: Well-appointed, modern cabins situated around the lodge offer a cozy living room area, comfortable bedding, on-demand water heaters, 24-hour electricity and Starlink satellite wifi. Two person cabins have one bedroom with two beds and a full bathroom. Four person cabins have two private bedrooms, each with a full bathroom and two beds.
Outposts: Each outpost has modern, rustic cabins with electricity, full, private bathrooms, hot water and Starlink satellite wifi. The cabins are designed for 2-6 people each (depending on location).
All advertised rates are based on double occupancy and 2×1 guiding. Individual occupancy is available with a single supplement fee.
Added fees for odd-numbered groups may vary based on guiding and lodging options.
With the exception of select special hosted groups, Gangler’s only offers private lodging for each booking (we do not pair individuals or parties for shared lodging).
Yes. The North Seal River Lodge offers chef-prepared meals, hearty shore lunches and breakfast options each day of your trip.
The outpost camps provide a variety of food so you can prepare excellent meals each day.
Maria Lake Mini Lodge offers fantastic meals prepared by the Camp Managers each day. Equipment for shore lunches is provided for your use.
Dietary restrictions can be accommodated at all locations with at least 30 days’ advance notice.
Due to our remote location, cell phone service is limited to none (unless you have satellite service). Satellite Wi-Fi is available in each camp but we encourage guests to embrace the digital detox.
Absolutely! We welcome all ages to enjoy the quiet, remote wilderness and incredible fishing.
