Jeff Currier ‘Global Fly Fisherman’ at Ganglers

Jeff Currier is without a doubt one of the most well-traveled and accomplished fly anglers on the planet. Name an obscure destination with an obscure species, and if Jeff hasn’t been there and caught it, it’s no doubt on his radar. He fishes destinations most of us would never dare travel to! He is also a multi-year member of Team USA in the World Fly-fishing Championships and has taken home multiple medals, including a Team Gold in 2022 and finishing third in the individual standings He is one of the nicest, most humble people you will ever meet, always eager to help others with his expertise and experience. We are proud to call him our friend.

One of Jeff’s favorite destinations on the planet is Ganglers. Jeff has fished with us three times, the last two with his lovely wife Yvonne aka ‘Grannie.’ His first trip was in June and the last two have been in September. In that time, he and Grannie have experienced magnificent fly-fishing, incredible Northern Lights, and our local wolves. Grannie got her personal best pike on a fly, a 45”, and Jeff took a 44” northern
