Incredible Family Trip to NSRL

Chris Hahn’s father Jerry has made several trips to Gangler’s North Seal River Lodge and we were delighted when Chris chose to join us and bring up several family members with for their annual Canadian trip.  For all, it was their first time fishing with us. Chris sent us these highlights and photos-

Dear Ken,

We had an unforgettable trip filled with incredible fishing and great hospitality!

Catches & Highlights:

• Walleye: Each of us caught our personal best, with the largest coming in at a massive 34 inches, we caught many over 32 inches with the average being around 28 inches.
•  Lake Trout: The trophy of the trip was a 41-inch laker, setting a new record for our crew. We were able to catch 5 or more a day, all very nice size.
•  Northern Pike: We landed so many 35–45 inch pike that we literally lost count, with the biggest stretching to 45 inches!
• Fly-Out to Grimes: This was the pinnacle of the experience—over 100 walleye and dozens of trophy pike in a single day. Truly unreal.
• Grand Slam: Tim managed to round things out by catching a grayling, completing the grand slam.

Overall Experience:

Each boat caught well over 100 fish per day, keeping the action nonstop. From start to finish, the trip was flawlessly organized, and every member of the staff treated us like royalty. Their hospitality elevated the entire experience.
