Caretaker Changeover

It is always interesting when we have to change out our winter caretakers and the first changeover in 2026 was no exception. Utilizing a helicopter from Thompson, MB, and after 3 days of delays and dubious winter weather,  caretaker Ben, on duty since September 26, received a much appreciated break and past caretaker and camp manager Ryan Yaskiw stepped in for the next shift. The winter has been relatively quiet with nowhere near the amount of winter caribou hunters as we have seen in the past. The guys are getting lonely !
