Canadian Border Reopening: Book Your Spot at Gangler’s Now!
It’s finally happening! The Canadian government has announced the border is open to non-residents on August 9. And that means the finest angling waters in North America will be open to you once again!
Gangler’s outposts are set to begin opening on August 13 and the main lodge will open on August 20. Below is a complete list of available dates in 2021.
Gangler’s has without a doubt the largest collection of the finest and most varied waters in Canada, and they have not been fished in 500 days! These spots won’t last long, so please contact us ASAP if you would like to book.
The stated goal by Canadian Health officials is to have 75% of the population with both shots before reopening the border. They are now about to hit that mark, making Canada one of the safest places to vacation on the planet. We expect protocols to require proof of both vaccination shots administered at least two weeks before entering and proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours before departure.
Late summer and fall fishing can be tremendous. The lake trout are spawning, the fall colors are amazing, and the Northern Lights are dancing across the night skies. We can’t wait to have you here again, let’s go fishing!
