Burnie Lake Brawlers

A great 2014 season at Gangler’s for both great fish and exceptional numbers. Burnie was as hot as ANY of the lakes, with some truly exceptional pike fishing in June and July. One 2014 guest was a new Gangler’s guest Phil Rayburg, who will be returning in 2015 with an even larger group as he spreads the word!

“Hello Ken,

I can’t wait to return to Burnie. Here are a few photos of the Master Angler pike from our trip to Burnie this year. We had a great time! Caught easily well over 1000 pike for the week for 2 of us. Four days in a row of 100 fish each without exaggeration. Sixteen pike over 41”. My biggest was a 46″, my buddy Curtis caught a 43″ on his fly rod. Good times!
