Late August Trip 100% Success
Once the border reopened last August, angler Steve Hayes decided to fulfill a bucket list item and give our late August fishing a try. A last minute trip, Steve came up alone but ended up having an awesome Ganglers experience. Please enjoy his note and photos. Thank you Steve!
“Hi Ken:
Good to hear from you. I am doing well although ready for a little warm weather in MN.I was a little hesitant to go by myself but I was treated great, met some new friends and plan to go fishing with some of the guests I met in the near future. It ended up being a great decision to head up by myself.
I had 3 goals: catch a grayling on my 4 weight, catch a pig pike on a fly rod (a totally new experience for me), & see the Northern Lights.The hot coffee delivered every morning to the cabin was the perfect way to start the day. Many thanks to the staff for that! My guide Travis really helped me out and worked hard to get me fish.
