Mike Borger Hosted Trips Bain Lake 2 Great Weeks

Mike Borger, THE Canadian Fishing Guide, has had several world-class trips to the Ganglers outposts. A few years ago, we began offering hosted trips with Mike and they became very popular. Mike is phenomenal for figuring out new waters and loves sharing that information with others. All of this makes for an Epic trip!  In 2024, Mike will be hosting two great weeks on a waterway he loves, Bain Lake. Join him if you can, you will love it. In the meantime, we are sharing photos from Mike’s trip last fall at Bain.

On the heels of another outstanding hosted trip to Ganglers Fishing Lodges Bain Lake outpost, I’m very happy to announce that I’ll be doing it again this year!

I’ll be hosting two separate weeks, July 27- August 3 and August 3-10, so there are two separate weeks to choose from if anyone is interested in joining.

That time of year the cabbage is at its peak and the trophy pike are aggressive.

Lake trout are abundant and stacked like cordwood in the deep basins and easily caught.

Few people travel that far north for walleye, but Bain is an exception. The trophy walleye fishery for 30 inch class fish is world class, it actually shocked me considering how far north it is.

There are also Arctic grayling available if you’re up for a scramble through the bush and bring waders with you.
