Mike Borger Bain Lake Summer Slam !!!!

The ‘Canadian Fishing Guide’, Mike Borger returned to one of his all-time favorite places to fish, Bain Lake, to chase the Summer Slam of big pike, lake trout, walleye  and arctic grayling.

Mike and his guests visited us for two weeks in late July and early August and had a great experience. Camp manager extraordinaire  Cory Burke kept the camp and equipment running well and definitely kept the crew well-fed.  Mike has done a great job captured their time at Bain on film, and not just the fishing, the whole camaraderie of the experience! 

Mike has now released his first video of the trip, Part 1,  and it makes you feel almost as if you are there in the boat with him. Mike loves Bain for its unique mix of every form of structure- weed beds, bays, deep holes, great current areas. All fed directly by the famed North Seal River with four other river systems tying in as well.

Gangler’s Bain Lake outpost with Mike Borger has been my favorite trip to date. Amazing multi-species fishing, and flawless logistics to get to the camp from Winnipeg. The flight into camp in a helicopter was incredible! Just a ton of fun!
