New Fly Fisher Interview – Limited Spring Dates
Last week, owner Ken Gangler was invited to sit down for a Live interview with Colin McKeown, head of the New Fly Fisher. Gangler’s hosted Colin and the New Fly Fisher in July 2018 and it was an astounding shoot with a boatload of footage. It was total mayhem, with shallow water pike destroying surface fly after surface fly. Some of the segments received over 1 million views. The goal was to get one great show, NFF got two! The show featured Colin with his daughter Jenna and he said the experience was a revelation for her.
The interview lasted over an hour and for us it was a lot of fun, like a simple visit sharing fly fishing tactics with an old friend. The show started as a discussion on what a great trip this was for parents and their children spending quality time together, then quickly morphed into a exchange on different ideas and tactics for fly fishing for shallow water pike. If shallow water pike is your thing, we think you will really enjoy it:
As a note the New Fly Fisher will be returning to Gangler’s July 1-8, 2023. There are still a handful of key shallow water (1’-4’) pike dates available, some even this week, whether you are a fly fishermen or prefer conventional tackle, you don’t want to miss these! This is pure heart-thumping big pike attacking in the shallows. We have some great incentives for these spots so give Tyler a call or an email at [email protected].
