400 Fish In a Day !

Guest Jerry Putnam has fished with Ganglers for over 20 years. So when Jerry has a day he deems special, it is noteworthy as he has seen many !  At our main lodge, the concept was to have  boats on as many lakes as we felt offered incredible angling. By doing so, with our guest numbers limited to 24 a week, it ensures lakes receive minimal pressure and stay pristine forever. On Jerry’s trip this spring, he inquired about one of our lakes, a popular lake which we had let ‘rest’ with minimal fishing for a couple of years. Jerry, brother-in-law John, and guide Raymond, flew in, got the boat and motor ready and off they went.  They returned 9 hours later with an incredible tale, catching over 400 fish in that time with many in the 35-40″ range. They were exhausted !
