The Ganglers fell in love and became prime advocates of fly-fishing their waters over 35 years ago. We hosted some of the first hosted fly-fishing for pike trips, led by legend Larry Dahlberg.  We were fortunate to be taken under wing by a man whom many call the greatest fly-fisherman of all time, Lefty Kreh, who mentored and supported us for almost 30 years and fished 12X with us. There have also been a host of other fly dignitaries whom we call friends and supporters over the years- Flip Pallot, Bob Clouser, Ed Jaworowski, the New Fly Fisher, Dan Blanton, and many others including Jeff Currier, Phil Rowley and Brian O’Keefe.

Most of all, we ‘talk the talk, walk the walk’.  Owner Ken Gangler and son Michael are avid fly fishermen with multiple trips each year to destinations ranging from Florida, Michigan and Montana ranging to Mexico, the Bahamas, Belize and Christmas Island.

New for 2026, Ganglers has cut a trail down the North Seal River where it exits Egenolf Lake, opening up another ½ mile of virgin prime waters for Arctic Grayling. We live and breathe fishing and are always looking to open new, prime opportunities at the North Seal.

Ganglers is proud to feature fly-fishing rods and reels from Sage, Orvis, Tibor, Rio, SA and TFO. Our complimentary fly table at the main lodge is custom built and second to none and we offer Regal vises at our outposts.
