 Ganglers News and Updates!

Bens Trip

We are all dealing with the current situation of COVID-19. From our home base in Florida, we pray that this issue of “the Current” finds you doing well and staying safe and healthy as all of us live and work through this unprecedented situation. Our planning is to proceed with our 2020 season when the current situation improves and the US/Canadian border restrictions are lifted. I think all of us are going to need a great relief when this settles down and a great fishing trip certainly will help. You certainly can not get more isolated !
In the meantime, to all of you reading this, we wish you the very best and pray for the safety of all.

Warm Regards,

– Ken Gangler

Travel Insurance

It is times like these when travel insurance is a consideration when booking a trip. Our friends at Global Rescue offer their premium plan which will cover up to 75% of a situation like Covid-19. The insurance must be purchased within one week of making the reservation. Ganglers also offers the Global Rescue Medical Evacuation Insurance at a special price of $7 a day.

NORTH SEAL FROSTY

Trophy PikeTo alleviate some stress and give you some relief from today’s situation, please enjoy these photos taken just days ago at North Seal River Lodge. Our Gangler’s McGyver, Jamie Chuckry, along with ace guide Sengadore (Snoop Dog) McCallum, are care-taking the lodge. Temps got down to a frosty -26˚F last week although they will hit a balmy 14˚F today.   Trophy PikeThere is a lot of snow so spring water levels will be good. There are caribou in the area and the locals have been able to fill the freezers, a big help after three lean years of activity. Jamie reports one group of 6 took 46 caribou just North of Blackfish Lake two days ago. Please enjoy these shots of Jamie and Seng being delivered fuel and groceries in front of the main lodge by the Turbine Otter on skis.
