Wow! June 24 - July 1 was a challenge! Rained all day Sunday, then we struggled through the post-cold-front lockjaw syndrome. But our guide, Alex, did everything he could do in taking us to the very best places. Fish were there but just couldn't get them to bite. Then the crazy, severe storms on Thursday! So we were expecting another bad day Friday. But we flew out to Grimes lake and Alex took us to places familiar to him. My brother and I NAILED fish all morning long!. The afternoon slowed some but we boated 123 pike, walleye and even a trout or two. What a great way to end the trip. Thanks for the wonderful service by all staff and we will see you again next year on Burnie!
